Competition : Arts Contest - 2015

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR COLOURING COMPETITION ONLY.

  1. The competition is open to all school students studying in LKG TO
    10th Class / Grade / Std.
  2. The Xerox / photocopy of the line drawing should be provided by the
    school management.
  3. Each school should submit a minimum of 50 Artworks / Entries.
  4. The Entries should reach us on or before 30-09-2015.
  5. The Entry fees is Rs.80/- ( Non-Refundable / Non-Returnable / Non-Transferable ) per Student / Artwork and Rs. 20/- should be collected from each student for providing a xerox/photocopy of line drawing for the Coloring contest. Postal / Courier / Money Order / Demand Draft Charges and any other Incidental Expenses met by the school management for organising this Contest. Entry Fees - Rs. 80/-& Rs. 20/- ( Totally Rs. 100/- )
    One Entry per Student.
  6. The Entry fees is Rs. 80 /- ( Non-Refundable / Non-Returnable / Non-Transferable ) per Student / Artwork should be sent either by Money Order or Demand Draft only in favour of S.JAYAVINUKUMAAR, payable at Bangalore, Karnataka. Kindly follow the same spelling as given here ( S. JAYAVINUKUMAAR ) for Demand Draft and Money Order without fail. No Reduction / Deduction from Entry Fees should be done. Any amount sent will be considered as Entry Fees only. The Entry fees will not be returned or will not be refunded or will not be transferable to accounts of any School / any Teacher / any Parent /
    any Guardian / any Student / any Individual in any Case /
    any Level / any Stage.
  7. The Artworks / Entries without Entry Fees & insufficient Entry Fees will not be accepted / will not be refunded / will not be returned / will not be transfered.
  8. The Students are informed to use Colour Pencils, Crayons or
    Oil Pastels only.
  9. Do not use Water Colours, Poster Colours, Fabric Paints, Oil Paints,
    Sketch Pens, Glitter Pens, Blow Pens or Marker Pens etc, to complete the
    Artworks / Entries.
  10. No Colour Papers / No Glittering Glues etc, should be used / Pasted to the Artworks / Entries.
  11. Do not Frame / Mount / Paste any thing behind the Entry / Artwork.
  12. The Art Center reserves the rights to retain, all the entries sent to the competition and the same will not be returned to the Students / Schools / Parents / Guardians & Art Schools.
  13. The Art Center will not be responsible for any damage / loss during the transportation.
  14. All correspondence must be in English only.
  15. The Entries should be sent only by registered post / Courier service only. Each parcel / courier should carry
    (A) list of paintings
    (B) Name of the student with class and section
    (C) Date of Birth
    (D) School Name Address
    (E) Name of the Principal / H.M & Art Teacher
    (F) Email Address, (G) phone & mobile numbers.

Judges

A Panel of Art Teachers / Eminent Artists will judge the entries.

The Decision of the judges is final and binding. No written correspondence,
no telephone communication & no Emails will be entertained in regards to results of the competition. Disputes if any, are subjected to the Bangalore City,
jurisdiction only.

Awards and Prizes

All the Entries will be judged within 45 days.

All the Participants will receive a certificate for their participation.

41 Gold plated medals for each Class / Grade / Standard will be presented as
1st prize.

41 Silver plated medals for each Class / Grade / Standard will be presented as
2nd prize.

41 Bronze plated medals for each Class / Grade / Standard will be presented as
3rd prize.

One best entry in each group will be awarded Rs. 1500/- cash / D.D.'s ( All the Cheques & Demand Drafts will be valid for 3 months only. Kindly Deposit the Cheques / Demand Drafts immediately into your Bank Account. No New Cheques or No Demand Drafts will be issued once again by our Art Center), in favour of the Winner (Student), President Gold Medal and Special Certificate.

"LALITHAKALA CENTER FOR VISUAL ARTS TROPHY",
a cash award of Rs. 5000/- & a special certificate for the
Principal / Headmaster / Mistress / Surprise Gifts for Art Teacher,
for encouraging the students to participate in large numbers.


This year, it has been planned to award 1,500 medals in all, winners as an encouragement. However the Art Center reserves all the rights to increase or decrease this number in proportion to the entries received.

The results of the competition, Medals, Awards and Certificates will be sent by post to the respective schools within 90 days of the judgement.


RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR DRAWING & PAINTING COMPETITION ONLY.
The competition is open to all School Students in the respective groups.
The topics for the competition are as mentioned below for each
Class / Grade / Standard.
LKG to 4th Class / Grade / Standard, No Specific Topic ( Student's Choice ).
Topics for 5th to 10th Class / Grade / Standard.

  1. Village Fair.
  2. At the Airport.
  3. If I am PM / CM.
  4. Vanamahothsava.
  5. My Dream Invention.
  6. At the Ice Cream Stall.
  7. Picnic with my Friends.
  8. Me and my Dream Land.
  9. Clean India, Green India.
  10. My visit to a Planetarium.
  11. Children’s Day Celebration.
  12. Watching Birds at Sanctuary.
  13. My first 3D Cinema Experience.
  14. School Project with Classmate.
  15. With my Grand Parents at a Farm House.

Terms and Conditions.

  1. The Artworks / paintings should be of
    A4 size ( 210 mm X 297 mm / 21.0 cm X 29.7 cm ) only.
  2. Each school / Educational institution should submit a minimum of
    50 Artworks / Entries.
  3. The Artworks / paintings can be done in any Media ( water colours,
    poster colours, acrylic colours, colour pencils, soft / oil pastels &
    pencil shading) etc;
  4. All the entries must be original and should not be a reproduction of
    greeting cards, posters, books, calendars, cartoons & internet web images.
  5. The Entry fees is Rs.80/- ( Non-Refundable / Non - Returnable / on - Transferable ) per Student / Artwork and Rs. 20/- should be collected from each student for providing a Good Quality Drawing Paper for this Competition, Xerox / Photocopying of the Entry Form, Postal / Courier / Money order / Demand Draft charges and any other incidental expenses met by the School Management for organising this Contest. Entry Fees - Rs. 80/- & Rs. 20/- (Totally Rs. 100/-) One Entry per Student.

  11. No Colour Papers / No Glittering Glues etc, should be used / Pasted to the Artworks / Entries.
  12. All the correspondence from the schools and Educational Institutions must be in English language only.
  13. The Entries should be sent only by registered post / Courier service only. Each parcel / courier should carry

    5th to 10th Class / Grade / Std.
  2. The Xerox / photocopy of the line drawing should be provided by the school management to the Students according to the Class / Grade / Std on A4 Size Paper only .
  3. Each school should submit a minimum of 50 Artworks / Entries.
  4. The Entries should reach us on or before 30-09-2015.
  5. The Entry fees is Rs.80/- ( Non - Refundable / Non - Returnable / Non - Transferable ) per Student / Artwork and Rs. 20/- should be collected from each student for providing Xerox / Photocopying of line drawing for the Pencil Shading contest. Postal / Courier / Money Order / Demand Draft Charges and any other Incidental Expenses met by the school management for organising this Contest. Entry Fees - Rs. 80/-& Rs. 20/- ( Totally Rs. 100/- ) One Entry per Student.
  6. The Entry fees is Rs. 100 /- ( Non - Refundable / Non - Returnable / Non - Transferable ) per Student / Artwork. The Entry fees should be sent either by Money Order or Demand Draft only in favour of
    S. JAYAVINUKUMAAR, payable at Bangalore, Karnataka. Kindly follow the same spelling as given here ( S. JAYAVINUKUMAAR )
    for Demand Draft and Money Order without fail. No Reduction / Deduction from Entry Fees should be done. Any amount sent will be considered as Entry Fees only.     (E) Name of the Principal / H.M & Art Teacher

    (G) phone & mobile numbers.
  12. All the Artworks / Entries sent for the competition will not be returned / will not be sent back to the Art teachers / Schools in any Case / any Level /
    any Stage.
  13. All the Artworks / Entries sent for the competition becomes the property of our art center and the art center reserves all the rights to retain all the Entries, to Exhibit, to Print, to Publish in our Books, Catalogues, Brochures, Websites etc.,
  14. The Art Center will not take any responsibilities for any damage / any loss during the transportation of the Artworks / Entries for the competition.
  15. The Art Teacher should send a letter from the School Principal / H.M, stating that the art teacher works in the same school.

1st Prize will be Rs. 5,000 /- for 1 Art Teacher, 2nd Prize will be Rs. 3,000 /- for 2 Art Teachers, 3rd Prize will be Rs. 2,000 /- for 3 Art Teachers, 4th Prize will be Rs. 1,000 /- for 4 Art Teachers. All the Cheques & Demand Drafts will be valid for 3 months only. Kindly Deposit the Cheques / Demand Drafts immediately into your Bank Account. No New Cheques or No Demand Drafts will be issued once again by our Art Center)
The Prize Winning Art Teachers will be awarded 1 Gold Plated Medal, Demand Draft favouring the Art Teacher's Name ( depending on the Prize won by the Art Teacher ) and Special Certificate.
